The environment is a living organism that has many plant, animals, humans, and etc.…. that all need to work together to survive. For instance if the vegetation in a certain area decreases the people and animals inhabiting that area instantly lose their means of natural resources. Seeing how biodiversity and cultural diversity are commonly related when there is a threat to the biodiversity the world that particular cultural lives in is also affected to. So in cultural diversity if a person feels threatened by a culture, the people in that society are not affected as a whole. Therefore, I think it is very important to not only protect the diverse environment but also the diverse cultures in a society through government funding because cultural diversity helps shape our world to being culturally aware of everyone in it.

Since the dawn of time Madagascar has been affected by globalization as till this day it is still a developing country. This island has been known for its exotic plants and animals and one negative effect that comes from globalization in Madagascar is deforestation which is decreasing this island biodiversity. For example Madagascar is rich with unique agriculture and makes a lot off its revenue exporting the goods of the island but as they constantly destroying the environment they are losing a lot of natural resources. Another effect that is present from globalization is the foreign influences that have stayed in this country. So considering Madagascar is still developing there is a heavy influence on outside religions and also outside business that are destroying the Malagasy people way of life that is very traditional. So as Globalization hinders this country in a way it also makes up for its negatives through Global Independence. Some of the examples are trade, and tourism because without Madagascar’s top trade partner France at 22.7% this country would be far behind economically. Furthermore, this island is a vacationer’s paradise and Madagascar benefits as tourism is highly pushed by government in this country. So as you think of these examples you can see how Madagascar takes a step forward in advancing its economy but also takes a step back.
Madagascar has experienced Globalization in many ways as it’s a gold mine when it comes to globalization because it has many resources, exotic geography, and a diverse population. One form of globalization in Madagascar is the idea of importing and exporting domestic and foreign goods. For instance rich in its fruits, plants, animals and agriculture helps keep the island running as Madagascar can contribute to the large trade market that happens among countries. Another example, would be the wide range of diversity Madagascar has because its island is made up of many different ethnic groups and is perfect for tourism and travel. Lastly Madagascar has a negative influence from globalization as it is a third world country that has to par working conditions in industries and agriculture. This is due to the wage being low as this country still improves.
